Low Poly Portrait
Objective - Create a portrait that uses a low polygon count with many triangles to demonstrate understanding of software, as well as basic value knowledge. This graphic should be representative of you.
Direction - I already knew that I wanted to be wearing something to differentiate myself from a normal picture, so I thought about what I liked, and I remembered that I had a replica pair of Tony Stark glasses that I liked, so I wore those to stand out! I also went with a vibrant red background to contrast my skin tones, as well as to pair nicely with the tinted glasses. Likes - One thing I really like about this project is how the shadows and tones look. I personally think I did a pretty good job recreating the shadows and highlights. I also like how the red tint of the glasses contrast with my skin. Dislikes - I don't think, that in some areas, the poly count is high enough. I think there are some areas with big blocky looking shapes, which I don't like. |
